File Corrupted
 

Please Help! I have no problem using limewire on my laptop at home, but for some reason on my work computer, it isnt working properly.. i have adjusted the firewall settings and i can connect with limewire, search for songs and start the download.. they will proceed all the way to 100% and during the "verifying contents" portion at the last second, it changes to "FILE CORRUPTED"... EVERY SINGLE TIME.. :shoot: has anyone else had this problem? thanks for the help.

Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface?
It sounds to me like either a firewall or anti-virus/anti-spyware, etc. utility is being too hard on the files. Being at work, you may not know all the firewall & anti-? devices they may be using.

ya, there is a wall in front of the world.. i have that on my home computer too, but it works fine.. i'm sure there is more going on that i know of.. i just figured if there was a firewall, that LW wouldnt even be able to connect.. its just weird that every single file i try to DL comes up corrupted.. i'll see if i can get one of our network guys on the phone about this.. LW worked fine for a while until our network was updated a couple months ago.. i'm sure its some setting thats preventing the complete download.. thanks for the reply..
