Sorry, but I'm a newbie with these forums, but an experienced user with LimeWire.

I just have one simple question.

I'm trying to upload music on my MySpace music profile, but it keeps telling me "File must be MP3." Well, on LimeWire, it tells me that the song I'm trying to upload is MP3, so I don't understand what the problem is. When I enqueue the song, and click on "save as," the file name is "limewire.m3u" What is m3u? It obviously isn't mp3, but it isn't accepted by MySpace, so I can't upload it.
But in LimeWire, under "Type," it's telling me that it's MP3. I try and change the name, but that doesn't work either. And under File Type, it doesn't have .mp3.

So I'm basically asking if anyone knows what to do so I can upload the song as a MP3.

It's probably saying it's an m3u because you have something like WMP as your default player...Where are you trying to upload the song from, LW ??
Go to your shared folder outside of limewire (click on a file in your LW library and click explore) this will open your shared folder, try uploading it from there...
