pleeeease help !!!!!!!!!

i've downloaded a song i no longer want. i've tried to delete it from my library but it wont let me as it says its either being used by another application or being downloaded to !!!! i've even tried to uninstall the program from my computer and then install limewire from a different source. but when i do my "bitdefender alert" pops up and tells me this same song is trying to access my computer. it does say that it is a "wma" type file where as all the other songs are mp3. what does this mean and how can i delete this song for good

Try deleting it from your saved folder instead of LW's library. In LW tools > options > saving shows you the location of your saved folder (by default it's C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Shared). Now close LW, check in task manager to make sure it's properly closed. Navigate to your saved folder (you can also use your computer's search to look for the file name) & see if it'll delete.

You could also try deleting in safe mode...see the link below.

Otherwise, you might need one of the tools from the link below. I've used both Unlocker & DelinvFile (from the 'ask Leo' link)
