Where are they going now? Did you change the location of your saved folder from the default?

You don't say what OS you're using, but for windows try this: Delete LW's preferences folder when LW is properly closed. See points 2 & 3 below
Fixes for LimeWire

This will kill all of your settings within options (you'll have to go through & reset things afterwards) & reset everything back to default, including the location of your saved folder.

Ok, delete the prefs folder & see if that helps.

Click on the "Fixes for LW'' link in post #3...you'll find instructions. Just remember that you'll have to show hidden files & folders in order to see that folder (it's hidden by default). If you haven't used old versions of LW before, just look for the location as in point 3 of that thread.

birdy, I think I solved the mystery....sort of...It seems the music I was downloading was going to the Limewire 4.2.6 file as opposed to my shared file
How can I make sure this does not happen again ? Mike

In LW go tools > options > saving. There you'll see the location of your saved folder & you can change that location if you need to. Just remember to click Apply to save a change

yhout,
Find the forum section that you want to post your question in. You'll see a blue 'New Thread' button in the top left corner...click on that & you'll be able to start a new thread
