Default Winzip file infected

Hi
I am getting suddenly a lot of movies downloaded that are winzip files that are virus' what is going on with this? How do i deal with this?

Well helloo...stay away from zip files

No, seriously, zip files are notorious for being infected (rar & exe files also). Stick to the file types like avi, mpeg etc.Always check a video file with Bitzi before download. If the file's been rated then you'll get an idea of it's content & quality. Files with lots of sources but no bitzi rating are probably fakes & should be avoided.

I am not a skeptic, neither am I paranoid!! But all the adverse press that "File Sharing" has been getting, anybody have the same feeling as me that perhaps this sudden influx of Spam, Fake Files, Virus infections (especially zip files) is masterminded by the powers that be?? The music industry especially are suspect here
