If you divide kpbs by 8 you then will have your speed in KB/s...
So if you divide 288 by 8 it will give you 36KB/s, so set you uploads to this and you should be fine, actually it's always best to set it just a bit lower...

Wondering Why Thanks for your help,
I did what you said but I still have a very slow download speed I've searched the forum for answers and done every thing thats been suggested,

I went in to windows search engine to see whats in there on limewire I have 18 files of limewire must be from when I've installed and uninstall limewire over the last few years, would it do any good to delete every thing with LW and start again.

also if I the leave LW for for say a few hours it freezes up when I click on any thing it won't work I couldn't even close it down your help is appreciated.

I would leave the folders they could be for different things in the program...
Do you see a brickwall in front of the LW globe ??
What I will get you to do is provide your details and we can go from there, as I've also seen that AOL security can cause problems...
System details - help us to help you
