Im curretly set up with cable and my connection settings are right. But im getting super slow download speeds. Yet on the other hand i was reaching speeds of 145KB'S while downloading limewire itself off downloads.com. HELP!!

Try d/loading a file from here: http://www.magnetmix.com/audio2.shtml. You should get good speeds from that site. If not it could mean that your isp is shaping your bandwidth..
