so all my files turned red, and to 408 kb, and are now exe files....i cant play any of them! did i just lose all my files???

i went to C:\uploads and their were no files there. i ran adaware and search and destroy..still nothing.!!! what do i do now please help as i want my music back ive spent 2 hours trying to fix this with now luck

Your the second person that has said today that all their MP3s have turned into exe files...Maybe there's a new virus around
I'd recommend running an AV scan and see what that comes up with...
Also do a Hijack this log and have a look at the self examination site and see if you can see any nasties in it...
Also download AVG antispyware (formaly Ewido) and run that...
