I've often wondered why LW doesn't make a simple program with all the necessary adjustments and tweaks already made for users. I've wrestled with LW day in and day out with trying to d/l songs and one day it is not bad while the next it is and usually is, bad. I realize there are different OS's and size of CP's out there but what a hassle to get LW working properly.

To be honest and fair, I'm not very computer litereate but I have tried most of the tweaks supplied on this forum and other than deleting the .limewire file, not much has helped. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, switched to Pro and still have problems.

Just wanted to vent....I feel better already!

LW is already about as simple as it can get as far as average users are concerned.

Thus, trying to diagnose why an individual setup doen't respond like most can get very frustrating.

I know it's not much consolation, but when a problem affects enough of the 5 ? million users, somebody usually comes up with a fix if possible, but it sure takes a while.

Just keep reading the forums and see if you can find a thread that comes close to your situation, and see if you can add your unique situation there.
