Question Cant get any search results

I have used Limewire before without errors. I now have dsl and it doesnt work. I wonder if my isp has restrictions. My isp is ktis.net i use broadtrack wireless. When trying to download anything the top of the search window on limewire has a new thing that says "Only search results with a [picture of a padlock] are official limewire communications". I have never seen this when i used limewire. I had the same version. There are one green bar and 4 red bars on my status bar. It says it is connected. I have no clue what to do. Experts please help!

That orange banner is to stop people from downloading bogus LW updates that are around at the moment
The warning was introduced around 4.12.8.

Your ISP might be a bit anti-p2p...have a read here (system rules (c) & (d))

7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)?
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? (Go to LW's menu Help>About LW...) Will show both LW & Java version.
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)?
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there?
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up.

Afaik NAV doesn't have a firewall. Check your computer to make sure. If you did have a Norton firewall, you'd have to disable the XP firewall as the 2 would conflict.

Double check your XP firewall config
Firewall setup

Looks like something's blocking LW's default port. Try changing to another port, one in the range of 49152 - 65535 (say 64049). Within LW go tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Change LW's listening port here. Then apply > ok.

That Linksys device...are there any other model numbers on it? Google has no info for it
