Search disappears without searching I've been using Limewire for quite awhile with no problems that I couldn't resolve. Right now I have 4.12.11 for Mac OS 10.4.8. I lost my connection (alll of it - had to restart the router), and when I restarted the computer and then Limewire, I go tthe message that I would need to connect. I chose "connect" on the file menu. While this was going on, a file that had been cued was downloaded to my computer. When I enter a search term it disappears immediately after I click search - like it was never there. The results screen remains silver, and there's nothing in the search box. It remembers it, though - when I type it again, it's in the history and offers to autofill. Even so, it continues to download already cued files - I just can't search. I'm afraid I don't know what firewall I have, but I've made *no* changes since it working last night. Here's my machine info: Machine Name: PowerBook G4 12" Machine Model: PowerBook6,4 CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (1.1) Number Of CPUs: 1 CPU Speed: 1.33 GHz L2 Cache (per CPU): 512 KB Memory: 768 MB Bus Speed: 167 MHz Firewall info: Limewire:Policy: Allowed TCP Ports: 42637 UDP Ports: 42637 FireWire Bus: Maximum Speed: Up to 400 Mb/sec 24 Gigs of HD available Connection is Cable via Comcast router is a Belkin Connecting from a house via apple airport to the router Java 1.5.0_06 2 computers are sharing the router - he's not downloading anything, and Limewire is working for him The page should say 'Your test worked!'.
