Default limewire files turn into compressed folders

HI,
I have a problem or virus? A week or so ago i downloaded a couple of files that wouldnt run on my pc. Everytime i download and then turn off my pc the next time I go to open limewire the files have been changed to compressed zip files.these will not open with my music match player. Any ideas on how to correct this would be greatly apppreciated. I have removed and reinstalled limewire several times and the same thing keeps happening. thanks ribless1

I had the same problem and am using VISTA. I used Windowslive one care and it detected a worm: WIN32/VB.ec, ed, ee. No problems anymore with EXE
