hi everyone,

having problems with my search, every time i try to put in a number it wont display in the search, so if i'm looking for season 2 of something all that will come up is season, so it's very hard to actually find what i'm looking for. I've asked a few people and no one seems to be able to know how to fix it. This only started about a week ago, before this happened i could enter the numbers with no problems. Does anyone know what i've done to make this happen?????

Hi Sam.
It could be the Licence warning thing.
Just have a look,
Go, Tools/Options/Searching/Basic, it says, "Show Licence Warning"
Un tick the box if you dont want to filter out copyright Files.

This option is enabled at setup, The choice is your decision.
Do a test to see if search resolts improve.
You can reverse this change at any time.

hi,

ok so i did what you said and unticked the box but the result is still the same. when you enter the numbers in the search on the left hand sign of the screen the number will appear, but when you hit search and it comes up on the top there's no numbers there!!! i've tried everything, even re started but still no change, i'm completley at a loss over this.

Any other suggestion???

Have you tryed putting one/two instead of 1/2 just a thought.

I don't know what you could have done (if anything) to cause this...

Try deleting the preferences in Limewire (while LW is completely closed). That will reset everything to default. You will have to configure your content filters, speed, etc. again. There are instructions in the following link:

hi,

i didn't actually think that writing the number would work but it has!!! yipee.

but i'm still confused as why the number itself wont appear, i know i've solved the problem but it's still doing my head in.

put everythink back to default setting but that didn't help, the numbers still doesn't appear.

it looks like it going be a mystery and i'll never know why, but at least i can actually search better now,
