![]() I've been using Limewire to download MPG and MP3's at various times during the mid morning and late evening over the last three days. When I download it downloads from at least 7 hosts nearly every time but at an average speed of 2 Kb/s. Compared to yesterday when it was @ 35 Kb/s and the day before when it was @ 85-115 Kb/s. Do you have any idea of why it has slowed down? I have one theory that Gnutella holds a list of its members IP addersses and recognises them as either high or low speed connections, so therefore gives high speed I.P adderesses more priority when downloading. I recently had problem with Limewire thinking I was behind a firewall so i couldn't get a stable connection. Maybe thats when Gnutella listed me as a problem member. If so how long does it take for those I.P lists to be changed/updated? Can Anyone help Please? THNX 4 Readin DON Amaad. |
