no search results

i have had no problems with downloading for the past year, but a few weeks ago limewire suddenly stopped displaying search results. it doesnt matter what i search for, it doesnt show any results
if anyone has this problem or knows how to fix it please let me know asap, its so frustrating! thanks

I've had this problem several times - don't know why - but every now and then, for some reason, the little search box on the top tells me it's "full" but there's no results in my search window. The only thing I've found that fixes it is to uninstall and then reinstall LW - make sure you restart your computer after doing the uninstall. And then it seems to work just fine. Don't ask me why. There may very well be a better/different/more technical solution, but I've found this to be the least aggravating. (I just had to do it ... it works. I'm now getting search results.)

i just downloaded limewire
and have entered an artist and song title to be serached.... and nothing comes up
