Your ISP don't have to set up this static IP for you. All you need to do is to set up a static IP for the computer that you're trying to connect with, so your router can recognise it.
I have a static IP set up so that I can port forward. But I still have my normal dynamic IP address.
If you go through those port forwarding instructions that I gave you, you'll see there's a link to follow with instructions for setting up a static IP on your computer. Just follow that link & you'll see what you need to do |
