Harmonic Tones in MP3 Downloads I hadn't used LW for sometime until recently and I've encountered problems with some of my downloads. Many newer songs have either a buzzing sound or harmonic tone when they are played. Is this a new protection device that I missed out on? Is there a way to get around this? Or, am I doing something wrong. The files look good before I download them and they are downloading rapidly, but they are no good. Any ideas? Vizzy: |
What player are you using? The LW player's pretty awful...if that's what you're using, disable it & use another player. Do you preview the songs as you're downloading them? If other players give the same result, it could be that the files are just poor quality. Try a file with a higher bitrate...higher bitrate should mean better quality. :) |
Still Buzzing Yes, I am using the LW player, but that is not the problem. I hear these sounds as I preview them so I cancel right away. I listen to jazz and have successfully downloaded over 1500 songs. I go with only 4 star, high bitrate songs that look like they are not corrupted. From this weeks top Jazz/Fusion chart only three of the top 12 songs were successfully downloaded. Older songs are not a problem, it seems like it's only newer ones. |
