problem with saved files downloaded from limewire after computer is started
 

i have windows xp in my pc. i have downloaded limewire basic 4.12.11 .for two weeks everything worked perfectly .however last thuesday after i started my computer a message appeared '' file is corrupt from transfer .setup expired '' and when i went to limewire all the files in my library mp3s mostly were transformed into executable archives . this happens every time i restart my computer or when i start it,until that moment all files work perfect. what can i do ? i have antivirus with the latest updates . how can iscan the archives before i download them?:thankyou: :confused: :confused: :(

This is a similar problem some users have been having latley, the only difference is you see exe files and they seen zip files...
You have downloaded a virus unfortunatley.....
The only AV that I know of to get rid of this virus is AVG, it is free...So if you aren't running that AV the best thing to do is disable the one you have and download AVG, scan your computer, get rid of the virus and then you can unistall AVG and make your normal AV active again...
