downloads at a rate of about 2-5 KBs
I am downloading another program AND that is at 25 KBs


Mac OS X
modem- I think-

I live in a VERY isolated area all internet/phone service goes through a satilitte.
My connection is from a unit on the house that connects to my computer- from there it all wireless.



Why is my download rate different?
What can I do to improve the rate?

From what i no.

Satilitte it all depends one the day.
And wireless is kinda weird i have wireless every once in a while it will go blank on me that's because my computer is in the basment.

But any way wireless do's not go through walls to well.

Maby you need an updated satilitte.
