The wall is from my router. Thats 100% sure. When I take the router out of the loop the wall is gone. So when I decide to try to DL files I just disconnect the router and connect modem direct to comp. As for drivers. No all drivers are up to date.

Much greatful for all the help.

Well I think we need to try this experiment....I searched google and found that if you connect to just the modem for downloading and uploading in can effect your download speeds...

Now I reckon plug your router back in and Port Forward it and you will see a huge difference...

Port forward/static done, no change in speeds

If that info were true. 1. My speeds would have always been slow before a router was installed. This was not the case.
My issues only began 2-3 months ago. Router has been installed for about a year and a half. Speeds were great till few months ago.

2. I also disagree because if that was the case then test files DL from magnetmix would also be vulnerable. These files would not fly thru at over 50kbs while any searched file bogs down to 1-2 kbs

3. I share my files but far and few between is anyone ever DL from me. So my modem being bogged down by uploads and downloads is not the case either.

I give up......
