downloads going to zip files (help!!!)
 

I have been having a problem for about a month. I went to limewire one day and all my files had been turned to zip files (212.6 kb) when I downloaded the songs they could be played by music match jukebox. But when I turn my computer off and turn it on again all the downloads have put into zip files. I don't know what I did to cause this problem. Before when I turned off my computer I could always turn it back on and play my files through real player, wmv or music match jukebox. I completely removed lw and reloaded it again thinking this would solve the problem but it didn't. I don't want to delete my files and reload them again. I just want to know that when I turn on my computer my files will be there. Any help on how to turn these zip file into ordinary files that can be played at any time would be appreciated!!!

Update your AV & do a scan, see if it finds a worm (Delf.ATB). Or you can try AVG Free AV...that should find it.

Download AVG, update it, scan your computer.
Search the forum & you'll see a few people have had this problem...AVG has fixed things for quite a few people;)
