Default Hey I gotta new one for ya!

So Im downloading a largeish file and it got to 89%, when suddenly the progress bar dropped! DOWN TO ZERO!! Then started again. I have been using LW for about two years and have never seen anything like this before. Any ideas??

This has also happened to me while downloading a few movies. I think it is a result of hosts dropping off since the files are so large. Usually the drop in progress is a very short period of time and generally not a big deal.

As a matter of interest. What version of L/W are you both using.
Peace.

Remoc Hi
Three other people have mentioned this same issue, I myself, had this happen
to me when I was putting 4.13 through some tests, that was an avi 700kb file
at 87% complete, dropped back to 0% & it was no fake file, Cos it reconnected
completed an my wife enjoyed it.
So its looking like a bug in 4.13 so far unless YOU lot can prove me wrong
Anyone els had this happen ? say what version of L/W you use THANKS.
Peace.

Hey Hobo, Apologies accepted. The progress remains at what ever % its at. The speed goes to 0 and then starts to kick back up slowly until it reaches the previous level. As long as the progress remains, its really no big deal. The 1st time it happened I almost had a heart attack but its all good!!

Reading your reply to my thread I think you may be misunderstanding what I am saying. The progress got to 89 percent. Then all of a sudden the green bars actually dropped in about 20 seconds down to zero and the download started again at zero. It didnt stop and say "waiting for busy hosts" or anything like that it actually went back to zero!

Ah well I did the decent thing and bought the movie on dvd from ebay!!!
