New member in need of HELP! (transfer songs to mp3 player)
 

Hello, new member here and first post. I am totallly green to Limewire and MP3's. I have Limewire Pro version 4.9.28. I also just purchased a Sansa(Sandisk) e260R MP3. I have the Limewire installed and also the Sansa Media Converter version 1.0 B004 .112CDG. I am able to download songs with no apparent problem. When I click on the downloaded song and drag it to the Sansa import screen I get a response (File cannot be imported, make sure valid file type and it's contents have not been corrupted). I've tried numerous different times with different songs etc. No luck, I keep getting same response. I'm able to play the mp3's on my computer but can't get them installed on my MP3. Thanks for any help.:bangh:


Edit: Also I have the MP3 connected to the computer through a USB and it says it's connected.

Try this....
Firstly plug in your mp3 player....

Go to your shared folder outside of limewire, to find this folder you need to select a file from your LW library and hit explore....

Now you should have a window that contains all your downloaded files...
(you can close LW down now if you want)

Right click on one of your mp3s

select send to

select the drive that your mp3 player is pluged in to (ie mine is E drive)

hey there! new guy here. just like to say thanks for solving a problem before it started. I 'm thinking of getting the e260 mp3 player.
Now I know how to work it before I get it!
