Files Reach 100% Then Stop DL'ing Before Complete/Verified Often my files will sit at 0 KB/s when at 100%, though the DL is not complete and verified. So the file remains "incomplete." It's as though something is cueing the program to stop downloading prematurely. What is causing this, and what can I do to complete the DL's when this happens? Thanks. |

This just happened to me. But when I shut down, it deletes all my current downloads and keeps bringing back an incomplete song file that I deleted long ago. Every time I restart it does this. I have nothing in my incomplete folder. I have no idea where the incompletes are going. Can you help me fix this? |

Are you running low on hdd space?.....Try deleting LW's preferences folder with LW completely shut down. See point 3 here: Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should!. Deleting that folder will change all your option settings back to the default. You might want to amke a note of them, so you can set them back.

Make sure LW is shut completely down(not running in the taskbar). Make sure you have your folder options set to show hidden files and folders, Tools>Folder Options>View, tick by "Show Hidden Files and Folders", click apply. Then go to C:\Documents and Settings\"your account name"\Application Data\Limewire. Delete the folder called "LimeWire". It should be there. Unless your using Vista. See this thread: LimeWire Pref Folder in Vista

It is 100% shut down, and I have the hidden folders showing and I'm in the correct location. No Limewire. I'm using Windows XP. If I completely delete Limewire and everything that goes with it, will this correct the problem? Thanks. |

Yeah, that would work but you should uninstall it first. Uninstall it By going to C:\Program Files\LimeWire\uninstall.exe, double click to uninstall. Don't use the add/remove programs. You could try searching your hdd for "limeWire", Start>Search, make sure it's set to search hidden folders. Not sure if this will help but should look like this(See Attachment). Also deleting the folder might not help but it's worth a try. Remember you'll have to reset you options in LW afterwards.
