Do you still see a wall in front of the globe in LW ??

If you do what's the name and model number of your modem/router ??

Should I post that router info here? It kinda seems unsafe. And I am still seeing the brick wall, so I think that the firewall is working fine. I have had to do a bit of research to get things working right, but I think it's good now.

I will play with these virus protection a little longer, but I will keep looking back at what you use. I find, so far that avast is very slow, and I found it funny that avast gave me a message that it was turning itself off because it found that AntiVir is running.

Your not suppose to see the wall, it's not meant to be there...
That's probably why you can't connect to a magnet link and why you cannot browse hosts....

There is no security threat if you post your modem/router info here, it just means I can give you instructions to get rid of the Nat Firewall that may be built into it...

Ohw, I see, I thought the wall meant that I was safe behind it.

OK, done, but since I was able to both Dl and UL before, why did I want to do this? Isn't my computer more susceptible to be hijacked now? Isn't this less safe than before?

Not at all, I find it hard to believe that anyone could of connected to you whilst behind the firewall....You should also start seeing better results...

Weird then because my speed is slower now. I just finished wiping 4.12.11 and gotthe newest beta installed with the hostiles list. It's nice that it somehow kept all of my old settings and even continued the DL's I had going. But my speeds are much slower still. Why?

Also, with the new version I tried to block a certain files host and mark it as junk, but I no option to mark it as junk and got "block Hosts". Is that because it showed 11 sources for the item? I assume I should not hit block hosts at this point, correct?

I don't get it. Could the Limewire working have anything to do with the fact that I had already done the exact same thing, using the exact same site you sent me to, for Bearshare? Although, I used different ports.

Question... We are four seperate people, using four cmputers that get there internet through a DSL connection, split by a router. Did doing what I just did somehow make there computers faster but my Limewire slower? Also, did I put them in any more jeopardy by doing this?
