Before you download any movies, check them with Bitzi:

Right-click on the file...Advanced...check with Bitzi.

If the file doesn't have any reviews, there's a good chance it's fake.

Good Luck

Try these fixes and see if they help get those options back...;)

Try uninstalling your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE offline version....(4th one down)
Java SE Downloads

Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...
LimeWire: The Official Site for the Fastest File Sharing Program on the Planet

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder...
Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should

Lord of the Rings May 6th, 2007 02:55 AM

Also check to see that after re-installing LW, that your browser hasn't somehow become blocked from that site or that LW needs clearance thru your firewall again. Some AV programs such as Norton require you to reset LW configuration thru firewall if you have reinstalled LW. eg: Reconfiguring Norton Firewall

If resetting or clearing & re-doing the firewall settings to allow LW full access doesn't have any effect, then try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.)
