Too many 'Need more sources'
 

I don't understand it. I've got nearly 100 of these "need more sources", which never change. There are only two ways around them; cancel download, or, do another search for each song/artist and click 'download' on another identical listing, then 'cancel download' on the original choice! Now, why do I have to do this at all? Doesn't Limewire try to automatically reconnect to the hosts which share these files? I've tried unsuccessfully, to click on "find more sources', but that only puts them in a 'awaiting souces' mode, never anything more than that. They just sit there!

I have to manually 'find more sources' on each one, everyday I turn on my computer! I just hate it! But it doesn't do anything, then never change, they never start/finish downloading.

It's a pain in the ***, but now when I click on any choice to download, I watch to see if it's actually connecting and downloading before I close out the search results. Almost every other song I chose, results in 'needing more sources'!

Well if you'd used the forum search to look for need more sources, you would've found your answer:wasntme:

There are fake files on the network that will sit connecting for ages & then get stuck needing sources...they won't ever download. Always check movies with Bitzi before download. Music doesn't get rated on Bitzi as much...search for artist or album name rather than song title. Use the All Types search. Stay away from popular files with huge numbers of sources...go for a file with 10 sources or less;)
