![]() Hi there, fairly new to Limewire was using 360 Share Pro previously. Using the same ISP(s), I can only get a max xfer rate of around 60Kbps using LW even with 10+ sources. 360 Share Pro maxed out at about 280Kbps. Xfer rate is the same at home, at school, and at work (different ISPs). Whats up with LW? I cant buy that its my ISP since 360 performed up to speed. Im running XP Media Center and have taken everything out of the equation except for Limewire. Once again, I can connect and share just fine. I am just extremely dissapointed in performance. Does ANYONE get xfer rates above 70Kbps or is it a limitation placed by LW? EDIT: Now appears to have become faster for no reason. Actually getting 130Kbps xfers now. First time in 20+ downloads to see xfer above 60Kbps...just bad luck? Seems unlikely.... Last edited by IR_Madcow; May 7th, 2007 at 04:36 PM. Reason: Developments in issue |
