i wonder if someone can help i have used limewire for a while with no problems THEN its all gone wrong i have 5mbps plus con.but for some reason it wont download like it used to ex.it will say downloading from 12 hosts but the speed is 0 or 1 kbs plus its not uploading at all thanks.

You use OPAL isp right? Many UK ISP's shape p2p bandwidth. Try using LW at different times of day & see if you have same problems.

i have tried all times of the day and night its no good having problems with u torrent as well ...did test on conn speed ..download speed 797kbps, upload speed 368kbps,,,,thanks sorry to borther you ....

I am having the same problem i just got a new fiberoptic internet connection and since then my downloads, only on limewire, otherwise it is much faster than cable/dsl. My test came out to be nearly 15000/kbps download and almost 10000/kbps upload speeds. Does limewire have a problem with fiberoptic? cause when i connect to my neighbors cable wireless the speeds jump to what they should be. any help would be great because Limewire doesnt seem to have any answers just say the connection speeds dont matter.
