![]() hi i have the same problem and i have verizon too. When im actually able to get the file to download (mostly it either takes forever or never begins to download because almost every file i try to download it will either say needs more sources or finding 300 sources and then say awaiting sources) I bought limewire pro, thinking it would be beter than basic but nope, same thing. Oh and i have the turbo speed connection and the download speed at the max i have seen so far is line 200 kbs and on averge like 20 or mabey a little less kbs, actuall say it say 8kbs and it would have taken like 16 days to download, its ridiculous. Even for a simple song. I changed the firewall setting in my control panel to allow limewire but ton lime wire it still shows that picture of a firewall. I thought it was a problem with the 4.13 beta so i uninstalled it and installed 4.12 but now when i open up lime wire its changes the splash screen from the 4.12 to the beta version, which i find odd when i thought i deleted everything from lime wire before installing 4.12 my pc spec (off the top of my head, lol) um.. amd 64 athlon 3500+ windows vista home premium 1 gb ram 512 mb ati x1800xt audigy 4 sound blaster ..thats all i can remember now, let me know if you need any more info. |

![]() Hi Hunter. Once you have downloaded & used 4.13, you will have to do a search on your computer and delete all Limewire files including Prefetch files, Then you can use an older version again. Follow these instructions exactly. So, you need to Go, Start/All Programs/LimeWire n Uninstall all L/W versions. Do Not Uninstall From Change or Remove Programs. Re BOOT Your computer NOW. Now Go to, Start/Search/click on all files n folders/more advanced options/ & make sure, case sensitive, is not ticked. (all other boxes should be ticked) Now!!, Put limewire in box, (all or part of file name) & click search. Delete everything found, including Prefetch folder, (I mean everything) Re BOOT Your computer NOW. Now!! Use this link to download latest L/W version using the off line installer LimeWire If you need help, Shout, If it fixed your problem or not, Feedback helps others. Peace
