Unhappy Im frustrated! Can u help?

I have been using LimeWire for a few months and it has worked just fine, then about a month ago it has basically stopped working.Once in a great while I might be able to download but it takes forever.Right around the time it stopped working,we got a router,it worked the same as usual for about 3 days then it started having problems.I have XP and I just installed sp2,I was also told to add an exception in my windows firewall and that didnt work,I have the free version of avg anti virus and was told to add an exception for that but it said to do it right through windows firewall,I also have ad aware and i dont see anyway to change that,I made some changes with the port thing on my router and still am having problems,LimeWire wont stay connected and I cant download,it will start going anywhere between 10 kbs up to 38kbs then drop to 0and stay there.Any ideas?Maybe I have done something wrong,I am not very computer smart,so if anyone can help I would appreciate it.I miss my LimeWire.Oh yeah, other computers in the house are not having a problem most of the time, but once in awhile they start messing up like mine.

Ok Trisha, I had this same problem before. The first time i installed it and used it I started having problems after awhile so I uninstalled limewire then reinstalled it. If that doesnt work then you might need to check your memory. Sometimes certain programs need a certain amount of memory to run.

Let me know how you make out with it.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and I actually had to do a factory reset and reinstall everything on my pc,I lost 2,754 songs from limewire in doing it.That is one thing I was instructed to do by hp support for a different matter.I have 128.00MB of Physical Memory and 13.09MB of Available Physical Memory. I dont know what any of this means.I know I dont have much installed on my pc.

This Means.
You need more Ram if your only runing with 128 chip than you have no more ram to run your pc at full speed and if your runing Windows XP Sp2 than that it self take's over 128Mb of ram so you need to get your self some more ram.
You can find them at staples or Newegg.com or Best Buy A little tip if you are going to get your self more ram i would take it with you to what ever place you get ram from so you get the right one because if you dont get the right one is screws up your video and your computer will not work.the chip's go from 256 at 60$ 512 chip At 80-100$ 1Gb chip at 100-150$. most computers have three ram slots you can go cheap and get two 256 and put two more in that will give you 640mb or 512 and that will also give you the same if you keep that 128 chip you got.
