Disk problem reported when downloading This just started this morning. I have several downloads that show 100% but then in the Status column it says Disk Problem. I moved everything to a completely separate drive and I am still getting the same message. I looked through the FAQ's etc but could not find any help. :mad2: |
Check out wondering why's post in this thread: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...wnloading.html |
I am still having the disk problem thing when downloading. I looked at all the possible things that could be wrong like not enough disk space, administrator rights etc. I moved my limewire folder to my c: drive in hopes that it would help but it did not. Every file I download ends up with a disk error message. Is there anything else I can try that might fix this? |
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? |
I don't know what you've tried, so apologies if you've already tried these. Cut back the number of files you have waiting to d/load to 1 or 2. Sometimes if you have too many files queued, it'll cause unwanted side effects. Defrag your hdd if you haven't already. You could also scan your hdd for errors. Go to Start > My Computer > right click on the drive your using(normally C:) > Properties > Tools > Error Checking > check Now > "Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors" (check box). |
