Default Pro is a joke

They charge you 19.00 for crap, there isn't anything to dl. This site is a joke. Every dl attempt comes up more sources needed. Just another online scam.

Limewire runs the site and sells you worthless software. They tell you you will get more and faster dl. They run the site they should police it.

I used the free version for awhile before buying the pro. I have downloaded hundreds of files and generally get dozens of hits on the things I search for. If you right click on more sources needed you can choose find more sources for download. It has always worked for me. The bottom line is that people on the p2p network don't always leave their computers on so files may not be available when you think they should be.

Yes this i think is the only negative thing with p2p..But i still love it!

If you cant find the file you want try a little bit later, and then maybe the person/persons who have this files, have their computers running again,so you can get it.(sorry for my english)

LimeWire is software that allows users to connect directly to other users'
computers, via the Gnutella network, and share files with them. It is not a
music service, we do not have any members, nor do we make any such indication, anywhere on our website.

We have no foreknowledge of, nor control over, what users decide to share over the Gnutella network, we do not place any files on the network for users to download, nor do we make any guarantee that you will find the files you are searching for.

Firewalls are not the cause of every LimeWire issue. "Need more sources" is
already addressed in our FAQ:
Lime Wire » Download LimeWire

Please provide a clear, detailed description of your problem, so I can better
assist you. In addition, if you are getting an error message, you will need to
include it in your response, exactly as it appears on your screen, as well as
the exact moment at which you received the message. To learn about peer-to-peer filesharing, and the Gnutella network, please visit:

Lime Wire » Understanding Peer-to-Peer Networking and File-Sharing

Thanks,

You are one of the few junior member that realises what it means to use a P2P application like Limewire and the gnutella network, most members, both junior and experienced, think it is download on demand. And what is even worse, they will not take the time to find out that they are mistaken.

The main thing about the network is that no-one promises that you will find what you are looking for, no-one says that the network it is safe and secure to use and, above all, no-one can guarantee anyone anything at all, because if they do they're lying.

Using the gnutella network is a voyage of discovery involving the navigation of pitfalls, traps and all sorts of nasty things, e.g. viruses, spams, bogus files etc. However, if you are willing to put up with all that the rewards can be immense.

Still, and time after time, we have people continually bombarding this forum with their petty gripes, stupidity and ignorance, I just wish these people would grow up.

Limewire sells software with promises that are bs, that is my prob. I know what p2p is, the pro ad promises more, faster dl, and its is bs. If they don't have any files on the site(which I know they don't) then why make bs promises that they can't stand behind.

I thought you said that you knew what p2p was. There is no 'site'. We already went over this. Many, many people are satisfied with Limewire. There is no program on Earth that satisfies 100% of the people who use it. Maybe instead of complaining, you could let us help you.
