Problem with downloaded files I, somewhat stupidly, downloaded something called 'BitDownload', using my Limewire. Since then, every file I download goes into my 'library' as a zipped up compressed file. These cannot be unzipped. I have tried to remove BitDownload from my PC using add/remove progammes, but it still pops up in my tool bar whenever I switch on my PC. Any ideas as to how I can rid of this blooming menace? I just want my files to go into my library so I can play them at my lesiure. At the moment, I've go to watch them as soon as I've downloaded them, whilst they are still in my 'search' box. If I switch off my PC, when I return, tjey are in my library and unplayable. Thanks for any help. |
I have seen this issue on the forum before. I have never experienced it myself. Issue is whether that file contains a virus or is simply some type for file that makes it the default of many file formats. |
