im catwoman from south africa and im new as a member but ive been using limewire for very long since i opened my licenced pro account.
i now have a serious problem with some downloads from limewire.when i search for a certain video/movie/program or audio i find that after wasting days waiting for 1 item of 700mb to download,that it actualy is rubbish/junk even porn just given another name.
:nono::nono:so far ive tried downloading [edit],waited 10days only to get a redlight districk porn movie/documentry.
i have young kids who love these movies and what a dissapointment when u finaly wanna watch the movie only to find porn.that realy is not great.i left emule n bearshare cause of the same bull.
:nono: 2day i finaly finished [edit] only to get some documentry of 911 disaster..
even certain programs seem to have trojans/worms and no contence.
:idea:my suggestion is that limewire should sort these programs into their prober sections where they belong with the proper names and not allow hackers to load rubbish with viruses as it cost us money to repare a crashed pc just cause of it.
please guys at support team do not allow people to load ur porn under false names.rather give them a section for sh..t like that with its proper names so that we who dont want it dont have to wast time n money.u guys do a great job with free files,just please check to see if its proper and good quality.afterall limewire is great but the speed is terrible even with my turbo account.

It's always wise to use Bitzi before downloading any video files, this way you can avoid all the rubbish that some people place into files...

Another good way is to preview the file when it get's to about 15%..

Limewire cannot control what is on the Gnutella Network, Limewire is only the software that connects you to other computers just like yours, so you can share files...;)

im really scared todaywas looking at porn and i clicked ona link on google and it said it wassome childpornagrphything and it haddocumented my name..im 15 yrs old and im scared! i dont whatwillhappen someone plz tell me!

how come its so easy to just say go here or click there or wait 15% later to preview when ive down that so many times with some programs/videos after its downloaded 50%.i just get a message nothing preview.seems like phazeddl and rapidshare no matter how bad they might seem to others are much more reliable for decent programs.just have a look at member k009 a child exposed to porn.no guys i know u cannot control what people load but check it out first and at least give us a section where we can send abusive junk like that.most of these people who share here arent even members but hackers.we all sometimes dont wanna pay for some program thats why we come here but is it really worth it. im a member at www/fileho.com and i can asure u there aint no rubbish allowed cause when u upload a file ect they check it first before publishing..limewire.ect please control ur sites.

Did you not understand what I meant in my earlier post ?? Limewire is just P2P software ...How can limewire know what is on everybodies computers...No file passes through a site or a server so they can't be screened...It's people and their computer's connecting to each other and sharing files...

I like your sig, it's so true isn't it....

When i try to preview movies it always says, I have'nt got the correct codecs, but when the download is complete, the movie plays fine. Any Ideas why this would happen? I have 100's of codecs and several Media Players, including VLC.

Check your local laws, kg009, if you're really scared. Don't sit there and do nothing. My guess? You have to have the stuff in your possession to get in trouble. If it's simply out there on the internet, you probably won't be a target. Like I said, just a guess. Check it out for yourself. :)

yeah i know but it said it had documented my name but i think it said it was some survey...but i really dont want to get in trouble with the police! I was on my psp so i wiped the memory, deleted everything and broke the chip in half cause i panicked... should i still worry?
