Setup File Expired!!
 

I have been a member of limewire for a while now and a few days ago I downloaded limewire into a new computer, Since then ALL my music has been placed into zip files. I did not do this. I tried to unzip them and I get the error message Setup file expired. I uninstalled limewire and reinstalled it hoping that would fix the promblem, it did not. I am using windows xp and have a cable internet connection. Advise please!!!!

I'm afraid you have a virus :o

Download AVG Antivirus (it's free) and run a scan. Many other antivirus programs will not catch this one.

As of yet, I don't know of anyone that has come up with a way to recover the lost files. :o
