Do you mean that you get no search results, or that nothing show up in the download pane (where you see the list of files you're downloading)?

If you see no search results, try this: Problems with the search

And if that's no help, delete LW's preferences folder when LW's properly closed. See point 3 here & also point 2 if you've used older versions of LW in the past (there could be a folder in either location).
Fixes for LimeWire
This will kill all of your settings within options, you'll have to go back through afterwards & reset things.

If neither of those help, please give us your details.

Is your connection to the network ok? How many green bars do you see?

If you see search results, but nothing shows up in the download pane, try this: License (click)

I'm having the same issue right now....

I've got full green bars...but when I search for something nothing ever shows up. I tried your first suggestion....but just to be clear those IPs go in allowed correct?
I've tried most everything but am at a lose. I also couldn't find the preferences folder that you were eluding to.

Everything worked fine a couple days ago. I recently switched ISPs, its Charter, but my buddy has the same setup as me and his works fine, not to mention i'm allowed to connect just fine...just nothing coming up on search...

The IP addresses in that first post should be blocked, not allowed. They're bad IPs.

Make sure LW's closed before you delete the preferences folder;)
When you're looking for the preferences folder, first of all go start > my computer > C drive > Documents and Settings > your name. See if there's a folder called .limewire...if it's there, delete it.

Now go back to Documents and Settings. At the top of the page click on tools > folder options > view. Put a dot in the button to show hidden files & folders > apply > ok. Now back to Documents & Settings > your name > Application Data. Look for a folder called LimeWire...if it's there, delete it. You have to have at least one of these folders, either the one within Application Data or the .limewire folder. You might have both, depending if you've used older versions of LW before.

Now start LW, go back through your LW tools > options & reset all your options to the way you like them. When you've finished that, LW should've had time to settle & so try a search:fingers:

LMAO!!

I opened it up to try the things your suggested and just searched "for" for the hell of it....and BLAM! a million results came up...

You're just that good I guess, lol. All I've gotta do is *think* of your suggestions and it worked.

Thankyou for the quick response :) Limewire owns!
