dumb question just a lil curious about this (see uploads)
 

is it possible for me to see what others are uploading from my computer?

Click on the Monitor tab, you'll see uploads there. If you don't have a Monitor tab, view > show/hide > tick Monitor.

If you want to see all uploads per session, tools > options > uploads. Untick 'automatically clear completed uploads' > apply > ok.
