Why won't program downloads play?
 

I'm new to most all of this, still learning even basic precedures. I can download video and music with little of no problems. Most of the time, with the right download, I can burn to a disk and play. But program downloads never play. I have followed suggested links to codes needed but still no succcess. What am I missing?:confused:

Programs are usually dangerous as most of them have a virus attached...
