 Try going back and deleting the LimeWire folder located C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Application Data\LimeWire then go to control panel > folder options >click on the View tab > put a dot in the circle nex to 'show hidden files & folders> apply > ok. As some people have a folder that is called .limewire from the older version as well as the LimeWire folder which is from the newer versions....
