I haven't downloaded music in a couple of months. I have a 2 yr contract that expires 2008. I have LimeWire 4.10.9 Java 1.6.0_01. Cable connections. McAfee firewalls. I never had a problem before downloading music. Can someone answer me why tonight I am having problems?

What happens when you try to download music? Do files sit connecting for ages & then need more sources, or do files not move into the download pane at all? Is your LW connected properly?

If files are connecting/need more sources, they might be fakes. These threads will help out in that case.

Where did you buy your LW & how much did you pay for it? LW basic's free & LW Pro costs $18.88, which includes free updates & email support for up to 6 months. It sounds as though you might've been scammed...there's no 2 year contract for LW
