Default Guys I need Help (problems downloading movies)

I have no cable it went out due to bad weather nor do i have satelite at the moment. I am cooped up with the wife and child and i have just downloaded Limewire Pro edition. But after 3 hours i have nothing to show for it. Am i doing something wrong. I want to get a few p2p movies that are current that i have not seen at blockbuster. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will have to decide on what you want to download and then type it into the search and let limewire bring up the results it can find...
Here are a couple of threads on things that will help you out...
How to use Bitzi Web Lookup .. & How to use Magnet Links & Direct Connect/Browse/Chat
WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!

Appreciate you responding back. I have typed in what i want to see how long should i wait for it to have at least 1 percent progress. I wanted to download newer movies. I have direct way internet speed i assume thats t1 or t3 i dunno. Should i try to connect with speed that matches me. Everything that Bitzi pulls up states unknown. Again thanks for responding.

Okay i have a movie downloading at 2 percent now. When i previewed it it said something like Windows media player can not play the file. Does this mean i will download for nothing?

It just means you need codecs....
Try this codec pac...
For XP this codec pac is very good
Download XP Codec Pack 2.0.8 - XP Codec Pack is one of the most complete codec pack
Or for Vista this pac
Vista Codec Package v4.4.7 Beta 4a (freeware)
