Downloads (0 KB/s then needs more sources) Hi Guys I am a newbie today and have primarily joined because my downlods have stopped downloading. Let me start with all my system details OS:Windows XP Service Pack 2 Firewalls:Windows Firewall. Am also using AVAST antivirus RAM:1GB HDD Space available:119GB Connection Type:Broadband Router:Netgear DG834GT Trying to Connect From:House Limewire Version:4.12.15 Java:1.6.1_01 ISP:TalkTalk Test:Test Worked Sharing:Yes. One Other Computer User Details:Been Using LW About a Year. This is a New Problem Brick Wall:No.Bars Are At Full Strength (5) Port Forwarding or UPnP:UPnP Security:AVAST Location:UK The problem I'm having is that I have searched done a search and multiple hosts have been found but when I try to download it puts it into the bottom half for downloadb but nothing happens. It says 0kb/s for a while and then says 'Need More Hosts'. |

Sorry, but Talk Talk customers have a lot of problems. Have a look at these threads below. If you use the forum search to look for Talk Talk, you'll probably find more threads Is that it then, TalkTalk ISP's known to BLOCK or Filter p2p or specifically Limewire 1-3k downloads ISPs that throttle p2p - The Scream! You could try changing ports but there's no guarantee that it's going to help you. In LW tools > options > advanced > firewall config. Change LW's listening port to 64049 (or something in the range of 49152 - 65535) > Apply > ok. Try downloading during the hours this person suggests. TalkTalk UK ISP blocking p2p |
