LW 4.12 refusing connections (downloads not connecting - OSX 10.4)

Hi,

First time on these forums, first time I've had a problem with limewire.
Downloaded and installed LW 4.14, unchecked the whole licence requirement business and started searching.. results fly down but only list 'connecting/need more sources' when i try to download.

Hopefully in answer to all the questions that will follow this post:

1. OS version? OSX 10.4
2. What firewalls you have? OSX
3. How much ram? 2g
4. Hard Disk space available? plenty (40ish)
5. Connection type? DSL (UK)
6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers? belkin 54g
7. Where are you trying to connect from (house, appartment complex, school, student accomodation, work, etc.)? house
8. What version of LimeWire (LW) & Java do you have? 4.14.8
9. Who is your ISP provider (Internet Service Provider)? zen internet (UK) (unthrottled/no shaping)
10. Do this simple test for us. Using your browser go here: http://www3.limewire.com:6346/ The page should say 'Your test worked!'. What happens when you go there? 'Your test worked'
11. Are you sharing the connection with other computers or p2p sharing programs? If yes, please give details of set up. Nope
12. Is this a your 1st try at LW or is this a new problem with an experienced user. No previous probs but.. am at my parents so not my usual connection and this is a new machine. same ISP, router config though
13. Do you see a brick wall in front of the blue world icon at the bottom of LW's interface? yup

UPNP's up and running and to ensure, have forwarded 25638 (listen port) to my IP

Are all the results bogus ones fed in by the RIAA mercs or am i missing something here? (have tried a variety of results)

Anyways, any light anyoen can shed is much appreciated, this is just boggling..
