![]() Hi all, first time user so please go easy ion me if i ask a stupid question..... Problem i have is when i download a video file it comes up in the download area as just 'TV and Films' then the next one is 'TV and Films' again which I have to amend the name of. When the actual file is saved it saves as an unknown file type which is a pig to open, also i can't then transfer it to ipod because the ipod conversion software won't recognise it. This has only started happening in the last couple of months, it all worked perfectly before that. I have not made any changes to my pc that i can recall. Look forward to receiving a bit of help. ![]() I didn't know LW has a download area called 'TV and Films'. You may need to reset your default programs for video. Apply that to mpg, mpeg, avi, etc. Setting Default video app Perhaps you could set the default to open the videos to VLC Player which opens almost all video file types. |

![]() Thanks for that, but i didn't explain very well. When i click on a video file to download, it goes into the download area with the name 'TV and Films' this only happens on video files, all audio files get transferred to my download area with the same name as i clicked on to get them there. So basically I don't know which file is which until it is downloaded. Hope this explains a bit better. Thanks again Adam |
