![]() Once a file has been downloaded it shows up in the search page with a check mark next to it (in the quality column). How can I remove any sign that this file has ever been downloaded? How can I remove this check mark? Last edited by Pbi319; August 8th, 2007 at 07:26 AM. Reason: spelling |

![]() Pbi319 I am also a stickler for privacy, so if I understand you correctly you want any file that you have downloaded to look like an ordinary file. Well, the first thing you do, if you are a windows user, is to go into windows explorer and rename the file, removing any unnecessary characters. If the file extension is in upper case rename them to lower case, i.e. change *.MPG to *.mpg, etc. Secondly, using windows explorer, move the file from LW's library folder to a non-library folder, that is another windows directory that LW does not use. And that should be that. UK Bob PS. There are other things you could also do, like remove the files pop-description, but that would be excessive. |
