...hardly anything. I've had limewire for over a year at the least and I've never had any problems at all but recently its really been acting up for some reason. It registers the download and it goes into the Downloads box and begins to connect and a speed appears but stays at 0/kbp or whatever it is. Sometimes it begins to download and gets to about 2% with the Time being huge even as much as like 18 days!!! But then sometimes like when I first turn my PC on I can download like upto 5, 6 songs fine? Can anyone help me because its getting me really down as I download as many as 60 songs a week!
My connection was slowed down to 2.0Mbps last week but sped back upto its original 8.0Kbps - this couldn't have had anything to do with it could it?

Any help would be much appreciated!!

sounds like you have a dial-up connection that isnt very fast. I have cable and my download speeds show to be in the 200-300Kbps range

Well..........this is so odd..................it worked perfectly fine after I'd posted this thread and I downloaded nearly 200 songs in the 3 hours it was back on and now the problems back.......really weird

And it would appear that a lot of the new threads that are appearing are having the same problem. :S

Ell, what connection are you using?
What speeds does your provider allow you?
