Sorry... I need to provide more info.
According to what I have read... I guess I should have provided more information, after reading further. So… My system is - Windows XP Professional
- Windows firewall is running and limewire is listed as an exception
- 1 Gb of RAM
- I have 87 Gb of hard drive available
- I have a cable connection
- My cable modem is a Motorola SB5100 Surfboard My Router is a Microsoft MN-500
- Connecting from my home office
- My version of Limewire is 4.14.8 Pro
- My ISP is Mediacom
- “Your test worked!”
- The only computers that I am sharing my connection with are my notebook and my daughters desktop
- I’ve used Limewire for a long time, and have always had the problem. I just now decided to try and remedy the problem.
- No – I don’t see a brick wall in front of the blue world.
- I cannot tell how these parameters are set.
- I am using Avast Antivirus home edition
- I live in the USA
