4.14.8 slow downloads, torrents only.

Hi there....
I have been using limewire for years with great results.

I cannot get any fast download speeds on torrents but all OK with other downloads. I have a 512 ASDL speed connection, and can get max speed often. But only very very slow speeds with torrents. Less than 5kb per sec.

I have set up 4.14.8 with the standard receommended configuration.

Anyone have any suggestions??

I think with torrents, it's pot luck, especially when you are getting normal speeds for other downloads...
I have seen torrents start off slow and then all of a sudden they will pick up speed....It all depends on the hosts you are connected to at the time..

Yes it took a week to download a 750MB file, I think something is wrong as I could never get any torrent software to work well, but I will keep trying, seems to upload quicker than dowload.........
