crawdaddy333 is flying high
Smile I saw movie files downloading at freakishly high Speed!!

While reading the forums for help on why some of my downloads have stopped at 99%,
I saw 5 of my other movie DLs (700 MB each) accumulate from around 10% to 99% & 100% at speeds that seem impossible for my connection to even support! (my DL speed was indicating 0!) 3 of the DLs reached 100% then the time left on them had a negative value, like (-1:29:43) .
Then after that, these files had a message in the status colume saying: Saving file.
I then went into the file where they are saved saw that the files were only 400 to 800 Kb apiece.
Has anyone else had anything like this happen?
Any explanations for this???

I decided to restart LW and the partial files resumed again (the ones reading 99% and 100%), one that was stuck at 99% completed and verified and the other 7 are happily rolling in at 10-50 Kb/s.
Thanks for your advice Remoc, doing the Bitzi is always a good idea and saves frustration. I guess in this case, when you see something insane happen, it's a good idea to get out and get back in-and see what happens...

Hey Crawdaddy, I would bet you are seeing Fake or Corrupted files. Always check Video Files with Bitzi. See Thread below.

http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...owse-chat.html.

Also take a look at these other links.

Fake files showing up in search results
How to find music (tips for movies also).

Hope this helps.
